but she knew who it was and she said "you can go in," but I just stood there with my tiny white poodle held in one hand. Minutes later she said again "you can go in," and I just stood there. Finally, she looked up at me with a complete look of annoyance on her face and of course she saw the puppy. Well, what a change!!! She stood up, face melting into a beautiful,excited smile, and she reached for my beautiful new baby. (continued)

and I felt part of hers. Some stories: I got my first rescue dog in 2000, and I had to drive to Philly b/c she was carpooled from SC. It was snowing and when I got back with Scooter your mom said we (the whole family) was worried about us. Not her but we. In '02 I got my tiny puppy Alfie (who is still alive) and I took him in for her to see (my dogs were always welcome,) & when I approached the desk she was concentrating on something intensely and (continued)

Hi. This morning a took by pills (I'm 68 so I need some,) & then crossed off today on my calendar so I wouldn't take them again today. The pen I used is pink and I have had it since '07. I know this b/c it was given to me as a gift when I had cancer. I have wondered why it does not run out of ink since I have been using it so long. Your mother gave me that pen.As she gave all of us so much else. I was the short, blond who started tanning in '95.She quickly became a part of my family (continued)
