     Mr. Michael F. "Mike" Arlington, 66, a resident of Heather Highlands, passed into Eternal Life Friday afternoon in the care of Celtic Healthcare Hospice at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre with his family by his side.
     Born January 12, 1951 in Jersey City, New Jersey, he was a son to the late Theodore F. and Eileen I. (Fleming) Arlington.  Educated in New Jersey schools, he was a graduate of Colonia Senior High School, Colonia, NJ and furthered his education by attaining an associate degree from Middlesex Community College in the study of business.
     Mike was raised and lived most of his life in New Jersey before relocating to the Wyoming Valley about ten years ago, settling in the Pittston area.
     Until his recent retirement, Mike was employed by Core Mark in the Hanover Industrial Estates and previously for Alcan Aluminum Corporation of Carteret, NJ as a warehouse products expediter.
     In his spare time, Mike was an avid bowler both in New Jersey and locally at Modern Lanes in Exeter.
     He is remembered as being a wonderful storyteller, great father, brother and friend to those who knew and loved him.
     Left to mourn his passing are his beloved daughter, Mercedes E. Arlington and her mother, Dawn-Marie McQuade of Swoyersville and his brother, Theodore T. (Ted) Arlington, of Wildwood, New Jersey.
     Memorial funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 16th from the North Wilkes-Barre location of the John V. Morris Family Funeral Homes Inc., 625 Main Street.  The Reverend Samuel Washington of the Perspective Church of Pittston will be celebrant.
     Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation and remembrances from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
