Mrs. Ann M. (Ciris) Rusak, 93, formerly of the North End section of the city, passed into Eternal Life Monday evening in the care of Timber Ridge Nursing Center, Plains Township, where she recently resided.

     Born December 28, 1923 in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter to the late Joseph and Susan (Hrivnak)  Ciris.  Educated in the city schools, she was a graduate of the James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre.

     Until her retirement, Mrs. Rusak was employed as a packer by the former Leslie Fay Company.

     Mrs. Rusak was a member of the Parish of Saint Andre Bessette, having previously been a communicant at the former Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, both of North Wilkes-Barre.

     She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Eugene J. Rusak on May 25, 1997 and most recently by the couple's son, Robert J. "Bobby" Rusak, with whom she resided and cared for until the time of his passing on March 4, 2014.

     Left to mourn her passing are her sister and caregiver, Mrs. Margaret Shilinski, of North Wilkes-Barre, brother-in-law, Mr. Al Rusak and his wife Dorothy of Ashley; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

     Funeral services for Mrs. Rusak will be conducted on Friday with her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. in the Parish of Saint Andre Bessette, 668 North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.  The Reverend Monsignor Vincent J. Grimalia, her cousin will serve as celebrant and homilist.

     Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in the family lot of Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Cemetery of Saint Andre Bessette Parish, Dorchester Drive, Dallas.

     Relatives and friends may join Mrs. Rusak's sister and family for visitation and shared remembrances directly at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass.
