Mrs. Margaret "Margie" (Eloswhy) Buli, 87, formerly of Hemlock Street, Wilkes-Barre Township, fell asleep in the Lord early Thursday morning in the care of the Little Flower Manor, Wilkes-Barre, where she has resided for the past several years.
Born December 20, 1931 in Wilkes-Barre Township, she was a daughter to the late John and Anna (Tonchak) Eloswhy. Mrs. Buli was educated in the Wilkes-Barre Township schools.
She was a member of Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre Township, where she was previously active in various parish affairs.
Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband Mr. Andrew Buli on December 10, 1962 and by a sister, Mrs. Esther Hoskey on March 14, 1992.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Mr. John Buli at home; Sister Mrs. Anna Kohan, Wilkes-Barre Township, several nieces and nephews; fellow parishioners, neighbors and friends.
Margie's family would like to gratefully acknowledge the nursing staff of Little Flower Manor for the care and compassion shown her while in their care.
The Office of Christian Burial with Divine Liturgy for Mrs. Buli will be conducted on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 526 Church Street, Wilkes-Barre Township. The Reverend Mykhaylo Prodanets, her pastor will serve as celebrant and homilist.
Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow next to her husband in Holy Assumption of Saint Mary Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Lake Street, Dallas.
Relatives and friends may join the Buli family Monday morning for visitation and remembrances directly in church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
