Mrs. Monica M. (Yasenchak) Neipert, 34, beloved daughter, wife and mother, passed into Eternal Life early Friday morning at the family residence following a prolonged illness.

Born December 7, 1982 in Kingston, she was the only daughter of three children to Michael G. Yasenchak, with whom she resided, and Carla M. (Loucks) Yasenchak of Nanticoke.

Educated in the local schools, Monica was a 1997 graduate of the former Saint Aloysius Parochial School, and a member of the 2001 graduating class of the Hanover Area Jr./Sr. High School.  She furthered her education by attaining a bachelor's degree in international business, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2005 from King's College, Wilkes-Barre.

Her professional career was in retail business, working with the J.C. Penney Company.  She served as the Talent Development Leader in Manchester, Connecticut, and later as Human Resource Manager in Winston-Salem, North Carolina before illness caused her early retirement and relocation back to the area.

She previously attended Saint Leo the Great Parish in Ashley.  Remembered as being a wonderful devoted wife and mother, Monica cherished her infant son, adored her family dogs and in her free time could be seen following NASCAR racing or listening to country music.  She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Monica was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Michael and Mary Yasenchak and by maternal grandfather, Carl Loucks.

Left to mourn her passing are her loving husband, Les, their infant son Jonathan and dad Michael Yasenchak, all at home.  Step-children, Nicholas, Tyler and Avery Niepert; mother, Carla M. Yasenchak of Nanticoke; Brothers, Michael Yasenchak and his wife Jacqueline of Hanover Township and Mark Yasenchak and his companion, Amy Nastick of Mechanicsburg; Maternal grandmother, Marguerite Loucks of Mountain Top; Four nieces, several cousins, fellow co-workers and dear friends.

Monica's funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Leo the Great Parish, 33 Manhattan Street, Ashley.  The Reverend Vincent H. Dang, pastor, will serve as celebrant and homilist.

Interment with the Rite of Committal will be private and at the convenience of her family in Saint Stephen's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Lehman Township.

Monica's family will receive relatives and friends directly after Mass in the vestibule of the church.

In lieu of floral tributes, Monica's family would be humbled if those contemplating a memorial contribution, kindly consider a donation to Jonathan P Neipert’s collage account, in order to do so, please send your e-mail address to mikegy50@aol.com to receive an invitation to make an online contribution.
