Born September 29, 1934 in Wilkes-Barre Township, she was a daughter to the late Stanley and Clara (Jozefczyk) Jamica, and was educated in the Wilkes-Barre Township schools.

Mrs. Mamola is remembered as being a wonderful cook and baker, especially of ethnic foods.  She was noted for her potato pancakes, piggies, pasties and haluski, as well as the fresh-from-scratch peach and apple pies made from fruits picked from the family fruit trees.  Above all, she is most remembered as being a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her adoring family.  Her physical presence will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her in this life.  In her spare time, she loved babysitting her grandchildren.

Mrs. Mamola was a parishioner of the Parish of Saint Andre Bessette, North Wilkes-Barre.  She and her husband Francis recently celebrated sixty-four years of married life together on June 2nd of this year.

Mrs. Mamola was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Stanley, Phillip, Leo, Theresa, Jeanie and Audrey; an infant granddaughter, Emma Vodzak in 2004 and by her son-in-law, Robert A. "Bobby" Baloga in 2015.

Left to cherish the memories they hold of her in addition to her beloved husband Francis at home, are the couple's children; Karen Baloga of Plains Township; David Mamola of Dallas; Matthew Mamola, at home; Luke Mamola and his wife Dina of Dallas and Mary Vodzak, along with her husband James of Bear Creek; Grandchildren, Caroline Dougherty and her husband James, Peyton and Kady; Great-grandchildren, Hanna and Veronica; Sisters; Barbara Pisarchik and her husband Daniel of South Wilkes-Barre and Mary Ann Trammell of Washington State; Numerous nieces, nephews neighbors and dear friends.
