Obituary

Mr. Charles A. Musto, 77, a resident of West Pittston, passed into Eternal Life Thursday evening while in the care of Allied Services Hospice Center Wilkes-Barre, following a recent illness.

Born on Monday, April 9, 1945 in the former Pittston Hospital, he was one of two sons to the late Carmen and Rose (DeSantis) Musto of West Pittston.

Educated in the Pittston area schools, he was a member of the 1965 graduating class of the former West Pittston High School, and furthered his education by taking several college courses toward his vocation.

Until his retirement in 2001, he had been employed as a systems analyst at the Luzerne County Courthouse.

In his spare time, and enjoying the outdoors, he previously was an avid hunter.

Left to cherish the memories they keep of him are his beloved wife Joan at home; brother, Mr. William Musto of Newtown Square; one niece, two nephews and several dear friends.

Per his previous request, funeral services and interment for Mr. Musto will be held privately with no formal visitation.

The John V. Morris Family Funeral Home Inc., 625 North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre is honored to care for Mr. Musto, his wife and family at this time.
