Mrs. Dolores Ann (Sally) Norton, 82, a resident of the Georgetown section of Wilkes-Barre Township, formerly of New Jersey, passed peacefully into eternal life Saturday, the afternoon of November 25th, 2023 in the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.
Born on Tuesday, July 22, 1941 in Edison, New Jersey, she was one of two children to the late John and Rose (Pius) Sally, and was educated in the New Jersey schools.
Following her marriage, the family relocated to the Wyoming Valley, settling in the Georgetown neighborhood of Wilkes-Barre Township.
Previously in her youth, Mrs. Norton was employed by the Salvation Army of Wilkes-Barre for several years.
More recently she is remembered as being a dedicated homemaker who lovingly cared for her family. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Mr. John Sally; a Son, Ricky Norton; Daughter, Ann Norton and Granddaughter, Jennifer Impaglia.
Left to keep special her memory are her son, Mr. Charles J. Norton, with whom she resided; Granddaughters, Tessie, Maria and Alissa; several great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews and dear friends including Mr. John Banas of Wilkes-Barre.
Per her previous request, funeral services for Mrs. Norton will be held privately and at the convenience of her family.
