Dorothy E. (Searfoss) Gould

     Mrs. Dorothy E. Gould, 54, a resident of Wilkes-Barre's North End neighborhood, passed into eternal life peacefully in the comfort of her residence early Thursday morning.

     Dorothy was one of four children to the late Franklin Searfoss and Esther (Cole) Searfoss-Davies.  Educated in the city schools, she was a member of the 1985 graduating class of the Elmer L. Meyers Jr./Sr. High School, South Wilkes-Barre.

     Her husband is Mr. Gary C. Gould, with whom she celebrated twenty-eight years of married life together on April 23rd of 2020.

     Dorothy is remembered as being a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend.  Her physical presence leaves a void in the lives of all those she touched in this life.

     Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mrs. Mary R. Urganus on November 1, 2015.

     She will be greatly missed by her husband Gary at home; Daughter, Christina Gould of Wilkes-Barre; Brothers, Edward Searfoss and Theodore Searfoss, both of Wilkes-Barre;  Nephew, Ernest T. Urganus III; Niece, Jennifer J. Blair and her wife, Leslie; Great-niece, Ella Blair; Several cousins and dear friends.

     Per her previous request, funeral services for Dorothy will be held privately and at the convenience of her family with no formal visitation.
