Mr. Frank P. Mazzanti, 60, a resident of Bear Creek Township, passed into Eternal Life the evening of Saturday, December 9, 2023 as a patient of Geisinger Wyoming Medical Center, Plains Township, following a prolonged illness.
Born on Monday, January 7, 1963 in Wilkes-Barre, Frank was one of four children and the only son to Mr. Frank Carl and Alice Rose (Kopec) Mazzanti, formerly of North Wilkes-Barre.
Educated in the city schools, Frank was a member of the 1980 graduating class of the former James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre.
Having a talent for woodworking, Frank was the owner and operator of Cappy's Furniture Refinishing of Bear Creek Township.
In his spare time and being a lover of the outdoors, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He especially enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Triangle Club in Miners Mills and the Polish American Veterans Club in Hudson.
Left to cherish the memories they keep of him, in addition to his parents Frank and Alice Mazzanti, who presently reside in Ohio; are his sisters Debra Danko and her husband Ron of Alexandria, Ohio; Denise Mazzanti of Maricopa, Arizona and Doreen Mazzanti of Columbus, Ohio. Two nephews, Lucas Hrabousky and Eric Danko; Niece Lindsay McNeilan; Great-Niece, Joelle McNeilan and Great-Nephew, Lucas (LJ) Hrabousky Jr., along with many former patrons and dear friends.
Per his previous request, funeral services for Frank will be held privately and at the convenience of his family with no formal visitation.
