It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mr. Frank Richard Sirocki, 70, a lifelong resident of Wilkes-Barre's Heights neighborhood. Frank passed peacefully and unexpectedly Tuesday in the comfort of his home.
Born on Sunday, February 13, 1955 in Wilkes-Barre, he was one of three children to the late Frank S. and Bernice Ruth (Skeras) Sirocki.
Educated in the city schools, he was a 1973 graduate of the former Grand Army of the Republic Memorial High School, and later earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics from then Wilkes College, both of Wilkes-Barre.
Frank dedicated his life to service, particularly in the restaurant and hospitality industry. He also loved assisting in the family business for a number of years. In his spare time, he enjoyed model railroading.
A gentle soul, Frank was known for his quiet demeanor and unwavering strength. He faced the challenges of life with resilience and grace, embodying the values of hard work and dedication. He cherished his family and friends.
Often, he could be found sharing laughter and stories over a meal or at local gatherings. His presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish all the memories they keep of him are his sister, Ms. Karen L. Sirocki of Tunkhannock; his brother Stephen J. Sirocki and his wife Heather of Scarborough, Maine; Nephews, including Jeremy and Quinn Murphy; Matthew, Alec and Jeffrey Sirocki and several dear friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Sirocki will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 1st from the John V. Morris Family Funeral Home Inc., 625 North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in the family lot of Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dorchester Drive, Dallas. Relatives and friends may join the family from 12 noon until the time of services Saturday afternoon.
