Obituary
Geraldine Sorokey, 92, of Wilkes-Barre passed away Sunday, January 8 at Timber Ridge Health Care Center, Plains Twp.
She was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late John and Anna (Kupar) Sorokey. She attended Hartford Schools and went on to work for fourteen years at United Rehab Services. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Parish.
Left to cherish her memory are numerous cousins.
The funeral service will be on Friday, January 13, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Hope Parish, 40 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in St. Edwards Cemetery, Connecticut. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
