Just before noon on Thursday, June 8th, 2023, Mrs. Jeanine M. (Bolinski) Pysniak, 59, a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend was called home by Almighty God. She had courageously battled several ailments for a number of years. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her in this life.
Jeanine was born on Thursday, February 20, 1964 at Scott Air Force Base, Belleville, Illinois. She was one of three children to the late Leonard Stanley and Catherine (Maxwell) Bolinski, and was educated in the back mountain schools. She was a 1982 graduate of the Lake-Lehman High School, and later earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communication with a minor in English from then Wilkes College in 1987.
Devoted to her Catholic faith, she and her family held membership in Saint Therese Roman Catholic Parish, Shavertown.
Until illness caused her early retirement, she worked as a Senior Compliance Director for Maximus, formerly Navient in Hanover Township for many years.
In her spare time, and enjoying crafts, Jeanine was a talented cross-stitcher and enjoyed sewing. Above all else, she will be remembered most for being a loving, devoted wife, mother, sister and dear friend to many.
She and her husband Jim recently celebrated thirty years of married life together on September 19th of last year. She was so very proud of her son Kevin and all of his accomplishments both academically and socially.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen S. Bolinski on December 1, 2012.
Left to cherish the wonderful memories they keep of her in addition to her husband Jim and son Kevin at home are her brother David Bolinski and his wife Judy of Noxen; several aunts, cousins and many wonderful co-workers and dear friends.
Funeral services for Jeanine will be conducted on Tuesday evening with Liturgy of the Word at 6:30 p.m. from the John V. Morris Family Funeral Home Inc., 625 North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. The Reverend James J. Paisley, pastor of Saint Therese Roman Catholic Church will serve as celebrant and homilist.
Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of her family.
Relatives and friends may join Jim and Kevin for visitation and shared remembrances from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services.
In lieu of floral tributes, the family would be honored if those wishing to send a monetary donation in her memory, kindly give consideration to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society website at www.givenow.lls.org.
