Linda C. Grey

Mrs. Linda C. Grey, of Wilkes-Barre, PA, entered into eternal life Monday evening, October 17 surrounded by the comfort of her two daughters. 

Born on June 25,1949, in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter to Edward and Florence (Benson) Check. Linda was married for 44 years to the late James W. Grey of Aliquippa, PA and was a flight attendant with US Airways for 36 years. 

Left to mourn her passing are her mother Florence (Benson) Check; Loving daughters, Jamie Costello and her husband Andrew of Thompson Station, TN and Jaclyn E. Smochek and her husband, Richard of Columbia, TN; Grandchildren, Samantha, Riley, Noah Kate, Chloe, Jamison Graham, Mila, and Beckham; Sisters, Donna Burgess, Jackie Pesotski, and Kathie Carr; Brother Ed Check; Several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Grey will be conducted on Saturday November 5, 2022 with a Memorial Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception, Wilkes-Barre.  The Reverend Monsignor John J. Sempa will serve as celebrant and homilist. Relatives and friends are invited to join Mrs. Grey's family for a time of shared remembrances and visitation from 9:00 am until time of services. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
