Marybeth Howe

Miss Marybeth Howe, 65, of Dallas passed away unexpectedly on Sunday January 15, 2023.

Born on June 11, 1957, she was the second child of the late Mr. Richard and Florence Howe of Wilkes-Barre.

Marybeth was educated in the city schools and was a 1975 graduate of the former Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre. She then furthered her education by studying nursing at Wilkes-Barre Vo-Tech.

 Following her formal education, Marybeth began her professional career as a Licensed Practical Nurse at The Gardens at Millville Nursing Home in Millville, Pennsylvania.

Marybeth will be remembered as a compassionate woman not only to the patients she took care of but also to their families as well. She will be truly missed by all of those who ever had the chance to meet her.

Miss Howe was preceded in death by her parents and also her brother Richard David Howe who passed away in February of 2017.    

Left to cherish the wonderful memories they keep of her are her niece Heather Inman-Howe; nephew Richard David Howe and his spouse Cora; great nephews Richard C. Huey IV, McHale Baden, Caelan Howe-Baden, Ethan Howe and Lorcan Baden and her lifelong dearest friend Patricia “Tish” Banas and Tish’s sons William J. Jr., Zachary and Elliott of whom Marybeth served as godmother.

A Memorial Gathering for Miss Howe will be conducted on Sunday 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. from the John V. Morris Family Funeral Home Inc., 625 North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. Services for Marybeth will begin at 4:00 p.m.
