Mr. Michael A. Fiorentino, 65, a resident of South Wilkes-Barre, passed into Eternal Life unexpectedly Sunday the afternoon of August 11th as an emergency patient of Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.
Born on Monday, June 22, 1959 in the Queens Borough of New York City, he was one of three children to the late Joseph and Louise (Specht) Fiorentino.
Educated globally due to his military service, Michael had locally attended the Luzerne County Community College, Nanticoke.
Michael proudly served our country with the United States Army. He earned the rank of Specialist 4th grade at the time of his honorable discharge from military duties on November 21, 1979.

In his spare time and being a lover of the outdoors, Michael was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the many trips he made over the years.
Above all else, he is best remembered as being a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather to his adoring family. His presence will be greatly missed by all those he touched in this life.
He and his wife, the former Rose M. Crablo would have celebrated twenty-one years of married life together next month on September 27th.
