Robert "Obbie" Brenner, 56, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023, in Einstein Medical Center after an illness.
He was the son of the late Robert and Janet Brenner. A graduate of GAR High School, he was formerly employed by Scott Grocery and Schiel's Family Markets as management. He was also proprietor of Brenner's All-Star Cafe, Wilkes-Barre.
Preceding him in death was his sister, Kim Brenner.
He is survived by his children, Bobby, Jaelyn and Bailey, all of Plains Twp.; sister, Christine Paul (Robbie); and Renee Brenner; former wife and dear friend, Donna Brenner; and nieces and nephews.
"Obbie" will be remembered for his crude sense of humor, making anyone laugh on their worst day. He enjoyed cooking, spending time with his family, beach vacations and watching all types of sports, especially his Miami Dolphins.
His greatest accomplishments were his children, who will miss him dearly.
The funeral will be conducted at 5:30 p.m. Sunday from John V. Morris Family Funeral Home, 625 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre. The Rev. William Lukesh of Forty Fort Presbyterian Church will serve as celebrant and leader of worship.
Interment will be held privately at the convenience of his family next to his parents and sister in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Twp. Relatives and friends may join the family for visitation and shared remembrances from 4 p.m. to service time.
