Walter J. Terpak

 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Walter J. Terpak, a beloved father, grandfather, companion and friend who departed this life on Wednesday, June 3rd at the age of 69. 

 Born on Saturday, June 23, 1956 in Wilkes-Barre, he and his family would have celebrated his 70th birthday in just three weeks. He was the only son to the late Walter and Florence (Bomba) Terpak, formerly of North Wilkes-Barre.

 Educated in the city schools, he was a 1974 graduate of the former James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre. He later furthered his education by attaining an associates degree in electrical engineering from then Penn State University's Wilkes-Barre campus.

 Prior to his recent retirement in 2025, Walter was employed as the plant manager for Manchester Industries in the Hanover Industrial Park. Previously, he was employed with the Offset Paperback Manufacturers in Dallas. Following his formal retirement, he did not sit idly by. He took a few jobs to keep active, most notably with the Geisinger Health Systems.

 Walter was not just an accomplished professional; he was also an avid sports fan and a passionate follower of the New York Yankees. His enthusiasm for sports was matched only by his love for family and friends. He cherished every opportunity to gather with loved ones to celebrate life's moments.

 He was preceded in death by his father, Walter on December 27, 2014 and by his mother Florence on February 5, 2018.

 Left to cherish all the wonderful memories they now keep of him are his beloved companion of many years, Christine Krieger, at home; His three sons, Pete Terpak and his wife Ariell of Mountain Top; Nicholas Terpak along with Jeffrey Terpak and his companion Jenna Collins, of Dupont; several former co-workers and dear friends.
